Planning this proposal was such a special honor! Kristin was bringing Emily to visit family from Colorado where they currently live. She had a brunch all planned to surprise their families with the news but needed a great iconic spot in Charleston/Mount Pleasant to pop the question. This spot avoided downtown and the crazy directions needed for someone not used to the area, yet offered a truly southern and iconic view of the Ravenel Bridge.
And I definitely felt the connection between these two! They were so sweet to one another and SO incredibly happy together.
This was my first time photographing at Waterfront Park in Mount Pleasant but the views here, as you can see, are absolutely spectacular for the Ravenel Bridge! This was such a great iconic spot for a Charleston Proposal, and was surprisingly not busy given it was a Saturday.
