Even though I have only just met Shelby and Josh, their strength as a couple and the journey they have endured to get to this point is powerful and noteworthy. 

I have to share this session because while I was supposed to narrow this amazing couple's session to just 15 images... well I couldn't so I made them do it for their final gallery. But I wanted to post them all here for all to marvel in their beauty and really showcase more of this location, because it has so much to offer.

So obviously, this gate on the property is pretty much everything. Ironwork is a staple of the Charleston history and a skill that is shown through architecture and it's history. The lighting in this particular location is also just magical in the morning with the backlit spanish moss. It's a location that almost always delivers a really powerful image.

I'm convinced that Shelby look stunning in anything she wears, because honestly, look at this momma! She is absolutely glowing and I love the intimate captures of just the two of them under the trees - It's like a fairytale!

And you would think that in the winter, there wouldn't be anything in bloom. Camellias are actually the only thing in bloom but they don't disappoint here. It was the perfect pop of color.

Shelby and Josh are expecting a baby girl this spring, so our last dress option was to celebrate her in the dress color.
