Welcome to Charleston South Carolina, we're happy to have you!

Updated for 2024!

Nearly 75% (or more) of my clients EACH YEAR are tourists here to the Charleston, SC area. Whether you're coming in on a short drive from Knoxville or Charlotte or you hopped on a plane from Texas or across the pond, I consider you a visitor here to my home and I am here to show off the place I love the best I can. With that, I decided to put together a visitors guide of sorts. I'm including all the things you might need, the things you didn't know you needed, and answering some of my top questions year after year! If I missed anything at all, I encourage you to shoot me a message and tell me about the thing you love or didn't know you needed when you visited Charleston!

Where to Stay around Town

My Clients stay all over the Charleston Area with the most popular destinations being: Kiawah Island, Seabrook Island, Isle of Palms and Wild Dunes Resort, Folly Beach and Historic Charleston. And while you may already have your accommodations booked, I wanted to at least drop a line of some other places you can look to book accommodations here in the area without having to go through third party websites like Booking.com, AirBnB or VRBO.

Things you NEED to Rent

This may seem like an odd topic, but to me it's the most innovative. Perhaps you haven't thought about any of this stuff before but if you're traveling with family including children, grandparents, or really anyone that needs more than just clothes there are so many small businesses here to support that rent some pretty basic things you don't have to lug from home. Things like car seats if you're renting a car, high chairs, strollers, and cribs for babies - who wants to take up all that precious cargo space or trust the airline with that stuff? And when traveling with some less independent family members things like wheelchairs, walkers, and shower chairs are also a key component to having a safe trip, while enjoyable, too. Then of course other fun things like beach gear, games, and more!

I meet with friends here pretty often, they have an amazing courtyard, excellent variety of beer and food.
