Jordan, Shane and their pup Emory popped down to Charleston for a quick Babymoon this July and contacted me for their maternity session. She wanted to take advantage of the Spanish Moss, Crepe Myrtles, but also wanted the historic charm of Rainbow Row so we opted for a full session downtown starting at one of my favorite places, Hampton Park.

I'm not going to lie, I was shocked when Jordan said she didn't want to use any of my dresses for her session and wanted to bring her own. I mean I have like over 60 maternity gowns, there must have been SOMETHING in there she liked, right?

I soon found out that this girl, she's got style, and she had something really special, straight out of the 70's in fact.

This gorgeous, perfect fit 70's dress was straight from her grandmother's closet and fit Jordan  F L A W L E S S L Y.

Jordan's grandmother was recently diagnosed with Alzheimers and she wanted to honor her with a portion of her session in this dress. We both got choked up just talking about it. It meant a lot to her and therefore meant a lot to me having a grandmother who passed just a couple years ago of the same disease. I just knew how important this was.

Once we sniffled up our tears we had Jordan change one last time into her blue dress and headed downtown to East Bay to create some more MAGIC.

Overall, this is probably one of my favorite maternity sessions downtown to-date. There was so much heart, so much fun, and so much fashion. Jordan and Shane (and Emory!) absolutely rocked every pose. I'm so happy they trusted me to capture their babymoon!
